I am a Visual Communication graduate and photographer based in London. I won the "Best New Blood" award at the D&AD New Blood exhibition in July and was recently a part of onedotzero's "cascade" programme. I am currently looking for experience within the creative industry.

Music, Photography

I was asked by Indian Red Lopez to take photos for them on the first date of a short UK tour. A short instore afternoon gig (which they turned into a street event, gathering a decent sized crowd during the set) was followed later that night by a slot supporting “A Silent Film” in Moshulu.

Music, Photography

I’m currently going through my back catalogue and making some prints of my best images. I think I keep this kind of image on screen far too much. This is one of my favourite music photographs: its of Scott Hutchison of Frightened Rabbit, during an intimate moment at the end of their September gig in Aberdeen. A silent crowd watching one man unplugged and on acoustic guitar, after an energetic set.

I shot a few frames for Slogan last night at their film screening- featured were short films by local film makers- including one by myself and Fraser Denholm. As is usual at Project Slogan Film nights, there was a massive variety of films played- from skate films and music videos to Beige, a clever short made by Doug, Ricky and Rich, fine art film makers. There was the awesome setup of screens on the floor, also.

The Grays School of Art Sculpture pre-degree show is on this week at The Academy Shopping centre, Aberdeen, in one of the empty units. It’s open until Wednesday (tomorrow) at 5pm. There’s some great work on display, including some drawing by Stewart Ross, and the above, which is part of Keiran McCrudens work.
