The latest issue of Cake Magazine (http://www.cakethemagazine.co.uk) was launched on Friday in Huntly, Aberdeenshire. The issue is curated by Deveron Arts and The Scottish Sculpture workshop, and should be available from outlets such as Peacock Visual Arts, Kilau Coffee and Transmission now.
The issue deals with various artists reactions to the word “outwith”, a word not often used outside of Scotland- and indeed, not even featured in the dictionary, which came as a bit of a surprise to me.
The launch of this issue of cake also means that my issue of Cake is the next one to be printed- exciting!
